At Palmer Mediation and Facilitation, I am dedicated as a divorce mediator, educator, facilitator, and solutionist. My goal is to help individuals, co-parents, and groups reach mutual and agreeable solutions.

Dr. Sara Palmer began her journey in mediation back in 5th grade when she was designated as a "Peace Maker" by her elementary school to help other students resolve arguments on the playground during recess.
She originally became a Certified Professional Mediator (CPM) in 2008 during her undergraduate education at Boise State University and graduated with her B.S. in Psychology. After graduation, Sara worked as a Family Group Decision Maker as a mediator between Child Protective Services (CPS) and the parents wanting to reunite with their children. After coming to an agreement, Sara would write a court order on steps to reunification.
After receiving her B.S. in Psychology, Sara also received her M.S. in Educational Psychology and Ph.D. in General Psychology with a Specialization in Cognition and Instruction. Since 2011, she has taught undergraduate and graduate psychology courses and currently teaches graduate psychology courses for Purdue University Global. On top of all of her various work roles, she co-owns a mental health agency in the Idaho.
Sara is a Certified Professional Mediator (#308) with the Idaho Mediation Association. She is also a member of multiple national mediation organizations.
